‘It’s not that hard to be a good person’: Caroline man lends helping hand to B.C evacuees

A 26-year-old man has vowed to stay as long as he is needed in British Columbia to help rescue animals and collect food and gas to evacuated people in need.

Logan Piesse, who is from Caroline, packed up his truck and his horse trailer July 9 and set out to Prince George.

Nine wildfire firefighters from Rocky Mtn. House sent to fight B.C wildfires

Alberta has sent 125 wildfire firefighters and support staff to British Columbia to help fight wildfires, nine of them being from Rocky Mountain House.

The crews consist of on-the-ground firefighters, an incident management team, fire investigators, and air support pilots.
