Shred-It 2025 - presented by Red Deer RCMP
Red Deer Skate Park, 43 Street, Red Deer, AB, Canada
Red Deer RCMP are hosting their annual Shred-It event for Fraud Prevention Month, March 26.
The event runs 12-4 at the Red Deer Skate Park parking lot (4785 43 Street; next to Servus Arena).
Officers from the Red Deer RCMP Youth and Community Action Team will be on-site to assist community members in safely shredding sensitive documents to help prevent identity theft and fraud.
The event has a drive-through format, and the limit is three boxes or bags per vehicle.
In addition to document shredding, the Central Alberta Humane Society will be in attendance to accept donations in support of their work in the community.

The Boor (by Anton Chekhov) – A hilarious clash of grief, loyalty, and unexpected romance unfolds when a stubborn landowner demands payment from a recent widow proving a point to her late, unfaithful husband.
West Brook Part 1 (by Jessica Swainson) – Can love break through the barriers of class expectations? Charles defies tradition when he falls for Melissa, a woman from a lower class, in this romantic drama about choice and family tensions.
A Trumped Up Fairy Tale (by Courtney Boniface) – A satirical, laugh-out-loud fairytale about a not-so-beloved king on a quest to make his kingdom great again. But first, he must answer the ultimate question: What do women want?
The Germ Chronicles (by Jeremy Robinson) – A semi-autobiographical staged reading exploring the creative moments that shape us, blending art, family, personal trauma, and humour in a deeply personal journey.

Come join a fun-filled run at the Bower-Kin Community Center! Lace up your running shoes and get ready to enjoy the beautiful weather while participating in the second annual Sun Run sponsored by Sunterra Market. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Soak up the sunshine, meet new friends, and make some unforgettable memories at the Sun Run! Kids can join interactive play nearby on the fields and playgrounds with all kinds of sports equipment and games. Enjoy a pancake breakfast from 9am - 1pm in support of Central Sport; representing volunteers and athletes from over 45 City of Red Deer sports organizations.
Participants can register to run or walk in either the 3km or 5km event, and every participant will receive a treat at the finish line, courtesy of Sunterra Market! There are two Dairy Queen Bubble Run events for children: 100m for ages 1-3, and 500m for ages 4-5. Bubble Run participants also receive finishers' prizes.
Everyone is welcome to join in afterwards for the Bo's Bar and Stage Afterparty featuring the Mustard Seed BBQ (supporting the School Lunch Program), bounce houses, live music, and beer garden until 8pm. All sales will be cash only, but an ATM will be onsite.
