Penhold emergency crews deal with another crash at Hwys 42 and 2A

Penhold Fire Chief Jim Pendergast says one person was sent to hospital after yet another crash at a notorious intersection.

On Friday, August 28, firefighters and other personnel responded to Hwy 42 and Hwy 2A where a passenger van and a pick-up truck and trailer had collided, according to Pendergast.

One person from the van was taken to hospital.

A Red Deer County peace officer was on scene to assist while traffic flow alternated in all four directions for close to 90 minutes.
