Hope Mission to host Thanksgiving Banquet on Friday

Hope Mission will hold a Thanksgiving Banquet on Friday, Oct. 9, to ensure Red Deer’s most vulnerable citizens can enjoy a meal to celebrate the holiday.

The home-style dinner was made possible through generous donations and will be served at 5 p.m.

Organizers say second seating will follow if necessary.

“At Hope Mission, we believe hope begins with a meal,” said Tim Pasma, senior director, in a media release. “Meals are an integral part of the care we provide 365 days a year. During the holidays, we want to make the meals even more special for our guests.”
