Alberta sheriff escapes injury in head-on crash with stolen vehicle

MORLEY- RCMP say a member of the Alberta Sheriffs department did not sustain any serious injuries in a head-on collision with a stolen vehicle.

Mounties were trying to stop a suspicious truck near the community of Morley, west of Calgary, on Sunday morning.

The truck carrying three people fled and collided with a nearby Sheriffs Branch vehicle.

No one in the fleeing vehicle was hurt.

The suspects were arrested and charges are pending against all three.
