Westerner Exhibition Association reports slight surplus in financial report
Despite inflationary cost pressures, the Westerner Exhibition Association (WEA) reported an annual surplus of $5,000.
This comes after the WEA presented their 2025-2026 annual financial report, which highlighted some progress in its financial position.
This includes a slight increase in revenue from last year’s report, resulting in $12.6 million in revenue. This was increased due to the first full year of campground operations and growth in other revenue streams.
Overall expenses increased by $102,000 year over year, which resulted in an improvement on the deficiencies of revenue over expenses before other revenue from a prior year of $165,000
