AltaLink completes Central East Transfer-Out transmission line project
AltaLink has finished work on its Central East Transfer-Out (CETO) transmission line project.
The company points out that as energy demand grows, it is projects like CETO that will help meet that demand.
The CETO project consists of 135 km of double-circuit 240-kilovolt transmission line between Red Deer and Stettler, along with improvements to existing substations, the company says in a news release.
“CETO represents a step in the right direction for Alberta energy and economic growth. It’s a testament to our commitment to advocating for the infrastructure that will support the future of Alberta and delivering critical infrastructure as demand grows,” said Jason Sharpe, COO, ATCO Energy Systems.
