Moore, Sloboda enter growing UCP race in Innisfail-Sylvan Lake
The list of candidates seeking to replace Don MacIntyre continues to grow.
Two more people this week have entered the UCP nomination race for the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake Constituency – Christine Moore and Victor Sloboda.
Moore is the Division 6 Councillor for Red Deer County. She is a former Board Chair for Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, former Co-Chairman of Child and Family Services Authority for Central Alberta, and is Co-chair for the annual Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off charity event.
“In the wake of our MLA resigning unexpectedly, after a decade of division, I believe that it is time for our community to move forward. This community needs a representative with a proven track record of balancing budgets, standing up for their community, and someone with the experience to deliver on their promises,” Moore said in a release.
