1390 Red Deer Royal Canadian Army Cadets receive prestigious Alberta Shield Award
The 1390 Red Deer Royal Canadian Army Cadets have been presented the Alberta Shield Award, which is awarded annually to the top Army Cadet Corps in the province.
They were presented the award by the Alberta Army Cadet League during their Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) on Sunday at the Cormack Armoury in Red Deer.
The 1390 Red Deer Royal Canadian Army Cadets were selected to receive the award from approximately 40 Army Cadet Corps across Alberta.
“Receiving the Alberta Shield Award is a tremendous honour for our corps,” said Capt. Sarah Robert in a media release. “This recognition reflects the commitment of our cadets to excellence in training, leadership, and community service. We are proud of what they have accomplished throughout the year and the positive impact they continue to make in our community.”
