Maskwacis RCMP advise public to avoid travel due to poor road conditions

Maskwacis RCMP are advising the public of poor road conditions and limited visibility on Highways 2, 2A, and 611 near the community.

In a media release sent out late on Tuesday night, Mounties say motorists should avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.

According to 511 Alberta, at 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, there was a traffic advisory on Highway 2 near Highway 611. They explain that RCMP advise against travel because of partly covered roads due to blowing snow.
