Red Deer RCMP respond to collision between car and e-scooter
Red Deer RCMP are investigating after a collision occurred earlier this week between a car and an e-scooter.
Police say the incident took place on June 16 after 7 a.m. on C & E Trail north of Red Deer.
At that time, police responded to the collision after receiving a 911 call requesting assistance as a result of a grey car and an e-scooter colliding near Township Road 391.
The reports indicated one person was seriously injured, and after police and Emergency Services responded, they confirmed the 34-year-old driver of the e-scooter was in serious but stable condition. He was transported to the hospital.
