Canadian fashion designer, Teresa Lindsay, who recently moved her studio production to Sylvan Lake, displays her sensational “Sans Fiasco” collection at her Alberta premier of wearable made to measure women’s tailored fashions in support of the Sheldon Kennedy Centre of Excellence: Rising Futures Scholarship Fund — an initiative of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre (CACAC), which provides outstanding services to children, youth, and families across central Alberta.

The event includes:

  • Live performance by Canadian Electronic violinist Kytami
  • Chance to purchase one-of-a kind designs during the walking fashion auction
  • Social sip & shop with a cash bar run by Bo’s Bar & Stage along with the display of lifestyle accessories by POCCOT and SKCOE varsity merchandise

“Our hope is that women experience the benefit of a more positive body image when they see made to measure designs custom fit to their bodies and that more support showcases CACAC as a role model for other areas in Canada to help with early prevention measures where children know the community has a place for them to turn to,” explains fashion designer Teresa Lindsay. “And I want to invite any women (all heights, sizes, and ethnicities) interested in building confidence on the runway to contact us through the Runway Red Deer Facebook page for auditions.”

The fashion premier is hosted on site at the SKCOE in the Myshak 4 Seasons Patio to a limited audience. SEATING IS LIMITED and organizers are urging everyone to buy early as all ticket sales go directly to the CACAC.
