Red Deer golfer completes two rounds at Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship

A young Red Deer golfer fell short of making the cut at the 108th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship in Kitchener, ON this week.
Eileen Park, 13, shot an 82 in Round 1 on Tuesday and an 84 in Round 2 on Wednesday to finish +20 at the Westmount Golf & Country Club. Park was the youngest player in the field at the age of 13.
The talented young golfer from the Red Deer Golf & Country Club, won Alberta Golf’s U19 Championship in the female division at Cougar Creek Golf Resort west of Stony Plain last week.
