WATCH: Westerner Days Parade attracts thousands

Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Red Deer this morning to take in the annual Westerner Days Parade.

The event, which kicks-off central Alberta’s largest summer celebration each year, saw dozens of decorated floats from local businesses and organizations to spread cheer throughout the community.

The gates to Westerner Park are now open with the event running from now until Sunday, July 24th.
