Canadian Army to train in Red Deer County

Approximately 50 soldiers from 41 Signal Regiment will be participating in communications and domestic operations training from November 19-21, 2021 in Red Deer County, Alberta.
Members will participate in training scenarios that exercise skills in command and control, road moves, and security. Most activities will take place in wilderness areas, however where soldiers will be moving in or through towns or on private land, permission has been obtained from landowners and proper civil authorities. The public is asked to not approach vehicles or personnel involved in this activity and respect all traffic control measures where applicable.
This type of training further prepares the Canadian Army to support future domestic fire-fighting or flooding operations in the province of Alberta.
