Pair charged after weapons complaint in Sylvan Lake
Sylvan Lake RCMP have charged two people in connection a weapons complaint this week.
It was just after 8 p.m. on July 7 when RCMP responded to a report of a male pointing a firearm. A specific location was not provided.
Police say it was reported that a vehicle sped through an area with heavy pedestrian traffic when the eventual victim yelled at the driver to slow down.
“The driver stopped his vehicle and confronted the victim. As the victim left the area, the driver pointed what appeared to be a firearm at him,” a release states. “Sylvan Lake RCMP responded immediately to the area and located the vehicle.”
