$60,000 in air monitoring stolen in north Red Deer

City Mounties are turning to the public for help as they try to track down $60,000 worth of air monitoring equipment that was stolen from a vehicle in north Red Deer.

Red Deer RCMP say the equipment was stolen shortly after 8 a.m. on May 28 from a vehicle parked at the 6300 Block of Orr Drive. The equipment includes four yellow Honeywell AreaREA plus, case for air monitors and a RAELink kit.

Police are asking that residents contact them should they come across the equipment on online marketplaces or in pawn shops.
