RCMP arrest man in Highland Green Thursday

Red Deer RCMP have arrested and charged a man after executing an arrest warrant on the city’s north end Thursday morning.

Police responded around 11:45 to the area of 62 Street and 61 Avenue in Highland Green.

Jessie Wallace, 30, was arrested on warrants and is facing counts of pointing a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, disguised with intent, and failure to comply.

He remains in police custody.
