Couple with 105 Christmas trees raising money for humane society

A Red Deer couple is combining their love of Christmas with their love of animals for a festive fundraiser.

Vince Jackman and Tom Kereluk have decorated their home with 105 Christmas trees, up from 86 last year. Each of the trees has a different theme, including Harry Potter, Gay Pride and Star Wars.

They held a private party last weekend where family and friends took in the incredible decorations and helped raised $3,000 for the Central Alberta Humane Society.

This Saturday, Dec. 1, the public is invited to do the same as Jackman and Kereluk host an open house from noon to 4 p.m. at their home at 42 Comfort Close in Clearview. Donations for the humane society will be accepted.
