Skate sharpening services will return to Kinsmen Community Arenas in December

Skate sharpening services will return to Kinsmen Community Arenas, 5 McIntosh
Avenue, in early December, 2018.

The City of Red Deer completed an open call for proposals to provide skate sharpening services to this facility, and Mr. Brad Zimmerman was the successful proponent. Zimmerman will operate the business as Got Edge Skate Sharpening.

With the passing of long time operator Cec Swanson this summer, skate sharpening hasn’t been
available at the arena this hockey season.
