New job board launched by Central Alberta First

Work Central AB is a new job board launched by Central Alberta First, and it comes in response to what the organization says are growing workforce challenges across the region.

The website, which is being launched during Small Business Week, serves as a centralized hub where employers can promote career opportunities and job seekers can explore employment, community, and lifestyle options throughout Central Alberta, according to officials.

“Workforce availability continues to be one of the most significant challenges facing employers across Central Alberta,” said Sandra Blyth, chairperson of Central Alberta First and Economic Development Manager for the Town of Olds.

“Work Central AB is a collaborative, regional solution that helps employers connect with talent while showcasing the exceptional career and lifestyle opportunities available throughout our communities.”
