Public skates, shinny hockey return to Ponoka Arena Complex

Public skating and shinny hockey return to the Ponoka Arena Complex beginning today (Tuesday, August 4), giving citizens another option to help beat the heat on a hot summer day.

The Ponoka Arena Complex drop-in schedule is available online at Ponoka.ca/ice-seasonprogramming. Paper copies of the schedule are also available at the Ponoka Arena Complex.

Recreation Passes Available

To access public skating and shinny hockey, citizens can purchase a single-use pass or a 20-visit punch pass for the Arena. They can also purchase a recreation pass, which gives users access to all drop-in programming at the Arena and the Ponoka Aquaplex (including swimming, water fitness classes, public skating/shinny hockey and racquetball/squash).
