Frost advisory for Red Deer region

A frost advisory is in place for the Red Deer region, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

“Clearing skies overnight will cause temperatures to drop to near or below freezing before morning,” the weather authority states.

“Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.”

Overnight temperatures for the rest of the week are not currently forecast to get as close to the freezing mark.
