The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre has launched its annual baby bottle campaign, which will run from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.

From May 10 to June 21, those hoping to donate to the campaign can do so online or at participating churches.

Gifts of any amount are appreciated, but according to the Centre, one ‘bottle’ holds $30, two ‘bottles’ hold $60, and three ‘bottles’ hold $90.

“The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre extends grace and provides education and ongoing compassionate support before, during, and after pregnancy. All programs and services are free, confidential and offered in a safe, judgment-free environment regardless of age, gender, race, or religion,” as stated in a press release, adding they have offices in Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House.

In addition, the CAPCC operates a two-phase maternity home program in Red Deer called The Aerie for single pregnant or parenting women.

The Aerie, which is staffed 24/7, provides a home that supports a healthy pregnancy and positive parenting. The Aerie can accommodate up to 11 women and their infants. Residents who meet the eligibility criteria enter Phase 1 of the program during their pregnancy and move into Phase 2 when their infant is approximately six months old.

“We invite our community to help raise awareness of the Baby Bottle Campaign. Your support helps individuals and families in Central Alberta receive support and resources,” they added in the release.
