Central Alberta Crime Stoppers elects new board

Central Alberta Crime Stoppers has announced its new board of directors.

The new board comprises community members Vince Morelli, Vikas Jain, John Okoye, Lori Harnack, and Diane Wilson. Wilson will chair.

“Through a trusted partnership with the RCMP, Red Deer Crime Stoppers connects residents with a confidential reporting pathway, accelerating investigations and strengthening our shared commitment to safer neighborhoods,” Wilson said to rdnewsNOW.

Central Alberta Crime Stoppers received 708 tips in 2023, leading to 91 charges laid.

There were 837 tips in 2024, resulting in 90 charges.

Then in 2025, there were 907 tips which led to 85 charges.
