RCMP respond to collision on QEII at Innisfail

UPDATE – RCMP say that as of noon, the scene has been cleared.

RCMP responded Tuesday morning to a collision involving a semi truck, on the QEII Highway, just south of Highway 54.

Hwy 54 is the exit at the south end of Innisfail.

Injuries are minor, RCMP share.

“RCMP are advising that in order to safely remove the semi from the highway, all northbound traffic on the QEII, just south of Highway 54, is being detoured onto side roads. Motorist should expect delays,” RCMP say in a release.

An update will be provided by RCMP once the highway has been cleared.
