Sundre area sets temperature record for January 13

The Sundre area set an unofficial new temperature record for January 13 on Tuesday.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the temperature reached 10.3 degrees Celsius in the Sundre area that day, beating the previous record of 9.3 degrees Celsius set in 2004.

Records in this area have been kept since 1993.
