Highway now clear

RCMP respond to multi-vehicle collision near Bashaw

The Bashaw RCMP responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 21 on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the collision, which happened north of Highway 605, caused traffic from both directions to be redirected while emergency services responded to the incident.

The Highway was reopened later in the afternoon, and traffic has resumed as normal. However, Mounties say the road conditions are poor in the area, and they urge caution when driving.

The RCMP did not say whether or not there were any injuries or how many vehicles were involved.
