Olds RCMP arrest male after identifying allegedly stolen vehicle

The Olds RCMP Crime Reduction Unit has arrested a 58-year-old male in connection to an alleged stolen vehicle located at a 7-11.

On Feb. 27, RCMP located a vehicle at a 7-11 in Olds that had allegedly been stolen from Calgary.

Police arrested the driver and charged him with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and executed outstanding warrants from Airdrie and Lethbridge, they report.

After a judicial interim release hearing, the individual was released and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on March 24.
