Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular at Central Alberta Theatre in Red Deer this month

Central Alberta Theatre is proud to present The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular in the Festival Hall from Nov. 30-Dec. 16, 2023.

Written by Bo Wilson and directed by Suzanne Hermary, The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular is a playful holiday comedy that offers the very best of the Christmas season: theft, sabotage, friction, and Fa la la. Can the Sisterhood get their show ready amid all the skullduggeries? Only Santa knows.

The production boasts an all female cast with local actors Heather Reynolds, Deborah Van Delden, Wanda Oler, Debby Allen, and Liz Bennett.

All public performances will be held in Festival Hall, 4214 58 Street, Red Deer, AB.

Our preview and evening performances will be starting at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. They run Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, and 16.

Dinners will be served on Dec. 1, 9, and 16 at 6:00 p.m., with doors at 5:30 p.m. One brunch matinee performance is scheduled on Sunday Dec. 3 with the meal starting at 11:00 a.m. and doors opening at 10:30 a.m. The matinee performance will begin at 12:30 p.m.
