Rebels players head to NHL camps
Five Red Deer Rebels players are headed to NHL camps this month.
They include:
Kalan Lind (’05) – F – Nashville Predators
Mats Lindgren (’04) – D – Buffalo Sabres

Mats Lindgren (’04) – D – Buffalo Sabres
Carson Latimer (’03) – F – Minnesota Wild

Hunter Mayo (’04) – D – Los Angeles Kings
Matteo Fabrizi (’05) – D – Vegas Golden Knights
This list doesn’t include Jayden Grubbe who is eligible to return to the Rebels this season, but isn’t currently rostered. Grubbe will be attending the Edmonton Oilers camp.
Lind was selected by the Predators in round two of this year’s NHL Draft, while Lindgren was selected by the Sabres in round four of the 2022 NHL Draft.
Latimer, Mayo and Fabrizi are each attending camps as free agent invites.
Additionally, three former Rebels who graduated from the WHL last season are attending camps.

Christoffer Sedoff (’02) – D – Vegas Golden Knights
