Lacombe Police arrest man after alleged armed robbery

The Lacombe Police Service have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery over the weekend.

Police say on Oct. 17, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the police responded to a report of a robbery with a weapon at the Circle K Convenience Store located at 5001 – 52 Street in Lacombe.

Their initial investigation found that an adult man allegedly entered the store, brandished a knife, and cut the store attendant’s hand.

The suspect then allegedly stole around $40 worth of items from the store.
