Central Alberta Dream Drive raises over $600,000

Oct 19, 2026 | 1:05 PM

The Central Alberta Dream Drive raised over $600,000 in support of the Westerner Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds also benefiting the Aspire Child Development Centre.

The event was held on September 12 in Red Deer, where 75 children and young adults rode co-pilot in their dream cars through the city.

The event was made up of three experiences, including the car show at 10 a.m., the Dream Drive Rally at 1 p.m., and the Finish Line Gala at 6 p.m.

The day began with a free car show, which featured exotic cars, live entertainment, a Kid’s Zone, and food vendors.

Meanwhile, at the Gala, sponsors, donors, and drivers came together for dinner, a private concert by Brett Kissel, and a live auction. Organizers say they raised $238,000 alone in the gala.

“The response from our community was incredible. Westerner Park exists to serve Central Alberta, and this event shows what that looks like when people show up for it. We are proud that it also allowed us to support Aspire Child Development Centre,” Westerner Park wrote in a release.

The Central Alberta Dream Drive is set to return on Saturday, September 11, 2027.
