The Innisfail Integrated Traffic Unit would like to remind local motorists to start making appointments to have your winter tires put on your vehicles.
With temperatures slowly dropping and snow expected within the next week, Mounties say winter tires can make it safer for you and the occupants of your vehicle in winter driving conditions.
Pedestrians are also reminded to give vehicles more time to stop before crossing the road, and ensure that motorists see you before you start crossing.
“We would also like to remind you that you can report driving infractions, impaired driver, or any dangerous behavior happening on our roads, by contacting your nearest detachment, or by calling 911,” reads a statement from the Innisfail Integrated Traffic Unit.
