10 employees at Sobeys in Rocky Mountain House test positive for COVID-19

A COVID-19 outbreak is affecting employees at Sobeys in Rocky Mountain House.

The company’s COVID-19 tracker shows that as of this morning (Monday, March 8), 10 employees at the grocery store at 4419-52 Ave. in Rocky have tested positive for the virus since Thursday (March 4).

Workers who’ve tested positive were last working in store on the days of February 26 and 28, and March 2, 3 and 5, the tracker shows.

A Sobeys spokesperson says they are doing everything they can to keep all store staff and customers safe.

“Our corporate stores are and will always follow the direction of Public Health throughout the terrible COVID-19 outbreak.”
