Easter Bunny deemed an essential service by Premier Kenney

Premier Jason Kenney shared a very, very important public service announcement on Saturday ahead of announcing that the province is sending shipments of PPE to Ontario, Quebec and Ontario.

The premier stated that he had recently received an email from an 8-year-old girl in Calgary named Veronica asking if the Easter Bunny was cleared to make his rounds this weekend throughout Alberta.

“Can you lift the travel ban for the Easter Bunny? Please respond soon,” he read from the email.

“I’m pleased to assure you we have declared the Easter Bunny as an essential service and there is no travel ban,” Kenney remarked.

“We ask the Easter Bunny, however, to observe hygiene protocol and to wash his hands for at least 20 seconds under hot, soapy water frequently.”
