Five RDC soccer players make all-conference teams

Five Red Deer College student-athletes have been named to the ACAC Soccer South All-Conference teams.

Three RDC Queens received the honour, including Mikayla Fujimoto, Teryn Wright and Erin Gill.

The trio helped RDC to an 8-2-2 regular season record, capturing second place in the south division and a spot in the playoffs. 

The Queens lost to Concordia on Oct. 26 and were eliminated from the ACAC championship in the quarter-final round.

Meantime, two Kings, Gabriel Fleury de Queiroz and Theoren Gill, were named to the men’s squad.

The Kings finished with a 7-3-2 regular season record, good enough for third and a spot in the post-season.

The Kings also lost to Concordia in the ACAC quarter-final on Friday.
