Sylvan Lake man dies in Saskatchewan crash

A motor vehicle collision in Saskatchewan has tragically claimed the life of a 63-year-old man from Sylvan Lake.

Kindersley RCMP say they received a report of a crash around 4:25 p.m. on Sept. 1.

The incident on Highway 7, about six kilometres west of Marengo, or 48 kilometres west of Kindersley.

“Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined a pick-up truck and a semi truck collided. The driver of the pick-up truck was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. [The man’s] family has been notified,” RCMP say in a release.
