Eileen Park to compete in World Junior Girls Golf Championship

Red Deer’s Eileen Park has been named to the roster for Team Canada at the upcoming World Junior Girls Golf Championship.

She’s one of six athletes named to the team that will play in the 11th edition of the tournament, which is set for Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at Brampton Golf Club in Ontario.

This will be Park’s fourth straight time competing in the tournament. Last year, the 17-year-old helped Team Canada finish sixth, marking its best finish in tournament history.

This year, Park competed in the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open and had two top-five finishes in the AJGA this season and finished tied for seventh at the Canadian Junior Girls Championship in August.
