Red Deer RCMP are investigating after a female victim was hit in the head with a piece of lumber and then robbed.
Police say the alleged incident took place on Aug. 16 sometime in the afternoon in the grass area between Ace Casino and Wholesale Club in north Red Deer.
RCMP received the report at 5:17 p.m. for the incident that happened between noon and 5 p.m.
Police say the woman was hit over the head and then had her personal belongings taken.
