200 Red Deer Public educational assistants take in professional development
A couple of hundred educational assistants with Red Deer Public Schools took part in targeted professional development this week.
The school division says the learning was intended to sharpen skills and add new strategies to the EAs’ toolboxes, with the further goal of meeting the diverse needs ot students.
It was also offered in conjunction with Red Deer Polytechnic.
“Educational Assistants are an important part of our school teams, and investing in their professional learning is an investment in student success,” said Chris Good, Associate Superintendent of Student Services.
