Mounties say they’ll continue to use ATVs as a tool within the four nations when conducting proactive patrols. The vehicles are equipped with emergency lights and RCMP markings.

“You will see us out this summer in all the nations. We are open to feedback, as this is a tool we want to utilize to assist in public safety and to have members out interacting with the public at the same time in a different police vehicle,” said Cst. Catlin Chiasson, Maskwacis RCMP Public Information Officer.
