Town of Ponoka advises public of temporary road closure

The Town of Ponoka says there will be a temporary road closure on 50 Street between 51 Avenue and 50 Avenue on separate occaisions this month.

The closure will take place on Saturday, May 9 and on Saturday, May 16, to accommodate construction in downtown Ponoka.

The temporary closure will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

During that time, residents are asked to avoid the area, and motorists are reminded to drive with caution around work crews and observe road signs and flag personnel.
