DeBrusk lifts Vancouver Canucks to 4-3 overtime win over Los Angeles Kings
VANCOUVER — Jake DeBrusk scored his second goal of the night in overtime and the Vancouver Canucks edged the Los Angeles Kings 4-3 on Tuesday.
The winger collected a pass from centre Elias Pettersson and tapped a shot in to seal the victory 2:58 into the extra frame.
Defenceman Elias Pettersson opened the scoring for the Canucks (25-48-8), while DeBrusk and Zeev Buium each added a goal in the second period. Elias Pettersson the centre notched two assists.
Kevin Lankinen stopped 31 of the 34 shots he faced as Vancouver improved to 9-27-5 on home ice this season.
