Alberta Cree singer/storyteller to perform in Lacombe

The Living into Right Relations Team of St. Andrew’s United Church in Lacombe is holding a concert on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the church.

Organizers say Phyllis Sinclair, a Cree singer/storyteller from Fort Saskatchewan will be the guest performer.

Originally from Manitoba, Sinclair has toured all over the world with her folk-pop music.

Open to the public, admission is by way of a free will offering. The concert starts at 7 pm.

Refreshments will be provided at intermission.

After expenses are covered, organizers note that any excess funds will be donated to the Woodland Sanctuary on Woodland Drive just north of 58 Street in Lacombe. Officials say the sanctuary was created this year to mark the 100th anniversary of the United Church of Canada.
