Lacombe Police Service seizes 60 grams of cocaine following arrest

The Lacombe Police Service arrested a 47-year-old man last month on an outstanding warrant but later found he was in possession of cocaine.
They arrested the Lacombe resident on Sept. 5 at approximately 1:54 a.m. but during the booking process at the police station, officers conducted a search and found a vacuum-sealed package containing approximately 60 grams of cocaine.
As a result, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance and is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Court of Justice on Oct. 30.
