Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools board of trustees donates $30,000 to The Mustard Seed

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Board of Trustees approved a $30,000 donation to The Mustard Seed this month, which reaffirmed its continued support of community-based initiatives that enhance student nutrition.

The donation will go towards supporting students in Red Deer through lunch programming. They approved the same donation last fall, which helped provide 95,000 lunches to children during the school year.

The decision was made to donate $30,000 to The Mustard Seed because of deferred revenue from the division’s nutrition grant.
