Town of Ponoka unveils expanded multi-use skate park

The Town of Ponoka held a grand opening of its newly expanded multi-use skate park in downtown Ponoka Monday.

Located at 4515 50 Street, the expanded facility was designed for multi-use equipment such as skateboards, bicycles, scooters, and inline skates.

It also features a 38-metre long snake run, and a vert, pyramid and bank ramps, as well as an even-stair set; flat bar; quarter pipe; rainbow rail; and landscaping gathering and seating areas. These were all added after what the town calls extensive public consultation with the community.
