RCMP says travel not recommended on QEII north of Red Deer

The Alberta RCMP is alerting the public of poor driving conditions on the QEII Highway between Red Deer and Leduc.

This morning police responded to multiple collisions including a jack knifed semi-trailer near Highway 616 and a spun out car near Glen Park Road.

Police say icy patches are contributing to the poor road conditions and travel is not recommended. They ask the public to monitor Alberta 511 for updates.
