Red Deer RCMP charge one individual following pedestrian collision
Red Deer RCMP have charged a Blackfalds resident following a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
On July 5, 2024, at about 3:20 p.m., RCMP responded to a report of a collision between an SUV and pedestrian in the area of 77 Street and Riverside Drive in Red Deer.
As a result of the collision, Mounties say the female pedestrian was airlifted to hospital in Edmonton with significant injuries.
Following an investigation, police have charged Estela Chua, a 53-year-old Blackfalds resident, with dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm.
